Leaving the Company
If you are planning to leave Northrop Grumman, there are several key steps you should consider. See below for a list of suggestions.
Make sure your name, address, and any other personal information is correct and up to date on our systems in case we need to communicate with you during the process. If you are still an active employee change your address within Workday. To make changes click "View All Apps" on the Home page, and then click the "Personal Information" application. The Personal Information application appears. Under Change, select "Contact Information". The "My Contact Information" screen appears. To edit your home contact information, select "Edit", then "Change My Home Contact Information".
If you are no longer at the company, you may make the update on NetBenefits or call the Northrop Grumman Benefits Center (NGBC) at 800-894-4194, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to Midnight ET (TTY service is available at 711).
Some links will only work if connected to the Northrop Grumman Internal Network.
As soon as possible before your last day, call the NGBC at 800-894-4194 and let them know of your upcoming termination date. That way it’s on file and a representative can also tell you about any other required actions.
You and your eligible dependents may be eligible to continue health coverage for a limited time under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA). A COBRA packet will be mailed to your address on file within 30 days of your coverage end date. Learn more by calling the NGBC at 800-894-4194.
Go to NetBenefits or call the Northrop Grumman Benefits Center (NGBC) at 800-894-4194 for details about your retirement benefits. Make sure you understand what will happen to your benefits after you leave the company.
Log-in to NetBenefits to update or add a beneficiary. A beneficiary is the person, trust, or other legal entity named by the participant to receive any benefit provided under the plan upon the participant's death. If you don't name a beneficiary, benefits will be paid out as specified under the terms of your plan.
Before your last day, make sure your important legal documents are up to date so you have a plan in place to provide for loved ones. Legal and financial services are available though:
- Met Life’s Group Legal Plan (enrollment required). For more information, please visit the Group Legal Plan website.
