Our ERGs play a key role in fostering belonging, inclusion, engagement and allyship. Across our company, more than 30,000 employees come together in 14 ERGs with 280 chapters across the U.S., the UK and Australia. From networking to community outreach to professional development and so much more, ERGs provide benefits for both employees and the company.

Veteran Resources

Northrop Grumman has been named the number one company for veterans by Diversity Inc. and U.S. Veterans magazine. Veterans make up approximately 20% of our workforce and more than 1,600 are reservists.  We’re committed to recognizing and supporting active duty, Reserves, National Guard, and veteran employees. There are many resources, tools and opportunities specifically for veterans.

At Northrop Grumman, our culture allows us to recognize the many forms of diversity and foster an inclusive environment – one where there are equal opportunities for all. Learn how we reinforce our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Small Acts of Inclusion is a program that offers resources to make it easier to engage with colleagues. When performed with honesty and integrity, these small acts have the power to create inclusive relationships – characterized by mutual respect, acceptance and support of each other’s success.

  • Northrop Grumman Foundation’s Social Justice Campaign supports social justice, unity and equality. Real change starts with understanding, and to achieve that, we need to listen and be open to tough conversations. Our Unity and Social Justice page provides resources and encourages employees to engage with each other.

Volunteering is encouraged as a way to network, team build and develop leadership skills while making a difference. In addition, you can support your favorite nonprofits and schools through charitable giving.

Note: ECHO, Matching Gifts for Education and the My Giving portal are not available to international employees at this time.

The My Giving Portal makes volunteering and charitable giving easy. Through the portal you can:

  • Log your volunteer hours to qualify for a Community Service Grant.
  • Register for Employees Charity Organization (ECHO) workplace giving.
  • Apply for Matching Gifts for Education.

Community Service Grants

Northrop Grumman offers $500 grants in recognition of employees' dedication to volunteerism. You can apply for a Community Service Grant for a qualifying non-profit or school by logging 40 or more volunteer hours in the My Giving portal.

Employees Charity Organization (ECHO)

ECHO enables turnkey payroll contributions to qualifying non-profits and schools. Northrop Grumman pays all the administrative costs, which ensures 100% of the tax-deductible donations go directly to the causes you care about.
